These small versions of our Giant Toy Soldier and Giant Nutcracker make colorful holiday decorations for indoors or for smaller yards.

Full size patterns for both designs come complete with instructions and painting details. (each about 30" tall)

Description: Small Toy Soldier & Nutcracker

Dimensions: 30" tall each

Wood:
one 18" x 30" sheet of 1/4" or 1/2" thick exterior grade plywood, preferably 5-ply for better stability
two 1X2 x 24" long stakes for mounting

Hardware: required for mounting
eight #8 x 1" long flat head screws
one 1/2" dia. wooden ball

Tools:
scroll saw or a hand held sabre saw with a smooth cutting non-chipping, scrolling blade

Supplies:
transfer paper, pencil & clear tape
sand paper-medium & fine grits
wood filler-non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws
paint brushes-2", 3/4" & 1/4" wide brushes and a fine tipped detail brush

Paint:
white water base primer for a base coat (#PRIMQT)
